Rebecca Ward.

Rebecca Ward's installations are awe inspiring. Her medium of choice is masking tape of all colors! Most recently she created a piece for the Kate Spade store in Manhattan (see the first picture) and that's when I discovered the rest of her impressive installations. You can see more of her colorful + certainly sticky body of work on her website.

Wrapped Up.

How adorable is this All Wrapped Up Bow Ring from Kate Spade? I would love to get one of my fingers wearing it.
My heart is racing + I feel an impluse buy coming on.
What accessories are you dying to get your hands on?

Marco Zamora.

Meet Marco Zamora, an LA based artist and a master of watercolor and ink. His subjects are usually always found in his backyard of Los Angeles. His work is amazing because his fine detail makes the ordinary look extraordinary.

All in the Details.

I really loved every look in The Row collection that was shown this past week in New York. However, I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was about the collection that made it so stunning, until I saw these up close photos of a couple of the pieces. The luxe fabric and small details were what made the collection so perfect.

Even though fashion weak is clearly over and London Fashion week is in full swing, lets reminisce. What was your favorite collection of New York Fashion Week?

by Chloe Fleury.

These incredible 3D interpretations of different San Francisco neighborhoods are by Chloe Fleury, whom is originally from France but she now lives and works in San Francisco. I for one was so impressed that she got the colorful mission district and detailed Haight Ashbury houses so spot on. She also does both illustration, graphic design, and creates some really great stop motion films.

Mondays.

If it must be Monday,
then I must wear this.

The side braid + layers look effortless.

At long last, it's Friday!

It's been a long week and it's time to put my feet up and relax. I plan on getting out of the city and am heading south so I can watch the olympic games in my pj's and finish up a little design work.

What are you planning on doing to celebrate the weekend?

Karen O'Leary.

Karen O'Leary's cut out maps are awe-inspiring. I can't even imagine how long that would take and how much craftsmanship + patience one would require. As soon as she creates a San Francisco map for her etsy shop I am snatching it up!

Miss Capricho.

Currently wishing that Miss Capricho's fashion illustrations were hanging on my walls. She certainly has a way with watercolor.

Ideal + Real

Some girls dream of their wedding day. I on the other hand dream of the invitations. This simple and personalized design was created by the incredibly talented Erin Jang who works for Esquire magazine and is a designer of all things amazing. You can see more of her work on her blog.

Harvey Faircloth.

Harvey Faircloth's Spring/Summer line is making me wish for warmer weather! Their pieces have that retro spin that you can't find anywhere else and I immediately fell in love with all of their nautical inspired tops + dresses.

Antonia Thompson.

I spotted Antonia's New York City Apartment in Lonny Magazine. The mix of eclectic pieces and pops of color immediately drew me in. Her aesthetic is definitely something that I can hope to aspire to.

Fashion Week Favorite - Rebecca Taylor

Rebecca Taylor's fall collection was perfection. Menswear was back in full force with a girly flair + amazing thigh highs.

Mondays.

If it must be Monday,
then I must wear this.

Sessun is a French brand that I cannot get enough of. Simple, chic, and every outfit puts me in the mood for Spring. The striped dress with yellow sandals is my favorite out of the bunch and makes me want to swear off my winter coats, immediately. What are your go to brands for Spring?

Non Plus One.

In the name of Valentine's Day and New York Fashion Week. This video seemed appropriate. Cheers to love + fashion.

Fashion Week Favorite - Rag & Bone

I just have one question, can I wear Rag & Bone all season long, please? Thank you. I can't get over the ankle booties teamed-up with knee highs + then topped with layers upon layers of knits + suiting. I'll take one of each.

Moustache.

I just about died when I spotted these Peter Bruegger Moustache Mugs. If this isn't a great reason to throw a moustache party, then I don't know what is.

Etsy Find: The S Bag.

I am in love with these little fortune cookie like coin purses. You can find more great Quote bags, just like this S Bag, in their etsy shop.

But seriously, how thrilled would you be, if you got a little red one for Valentine's day?!

Magnificent Collage.

This collage to me it really the ultimate collage of pictures. I have been trying to conquer one wall in my apartment for months, which caused me to be in total awe of this wall. It looks so perfectly laid out yet a tad bit spontaneous.

For the Love of Bicycles.

I sold my bicycle several months ago for lack of storage and the fact that I take public transportation everywhere. So, when I came across For the Love of Bikes I started kicking myself for parting with my bike. The site is all about bikes, the accessories, and the movement. Check it out, it might just inspire you to buy a new set of wheels.
